Retailers: some of your favorite Aganorsa Leaf products are being given a brand-new look. Today the company has announced that it is streamlining its core line–Corojo, Maduro, Habano, and Connecticut brands–under the new name, La Validación Series.
“Last year we sent out a survey to our retail partners and the big takeaway is our cigars need to better reflect our company logo and image,” commented Terence Reilly, vice president of sales and marketing. “We listened to this valuable feedback and have worked with a professional designer to create an image that is unmistakably Aganorsa. We think both retailers and consumers will be thrilled with this new look that captures the essence of Aganorsa: Our Leaf is our Strength.”
While the blends remain unchanged from their original releases, the four lines have been repackaged with more prominent Aganorsa Leaf branding. Also, the box counts and sizes have been standardized. All four lines will now come in 15-count boxes and will consist of three vitolas: Gran Robusto (5 x 54), Toro (6 1/4 x 52), and Gran Toro (6 x 58). Like the original versions, all sizes will be box-pressed with the exception of the Habano, which will continue to be rolled and presented as a round parejo.
The Habano and Connecticut lines will begin arriving in retail in late May. The Maduro and Corojo lines will arrive in July. Pricing per cigar will range from $8.75 to $10.75.
