Bentley Tobacco & Bentley Tobacco USA Announce Executive Appointments and Official U.S. Expansion Ahead of 2025 PCA Convention
| Bunde, Germany & Orlando, Florida – April 2, 2025 — In anticipation of the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Convention in New Orleans, Bentley Tobacco – Bunde, Germany is proud to formally announce the establishment of its U.S. operations under the new entity Bentley Tobacco | USA, based in Orlando, Florida. Jonathan M. Carney has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Bentley Tobacco | USA and has joined the Board of Directors. Carney has also assumed an ownership stake in the company. Carney, an industry veteran with nearly two decades of executive experience, brings extensive knowledge in seed-to-cigar brand development, operations, and executive leadership within the premium cigar sector. Joining Carney is Michael Wilson, who will serve as Operations Director for Bentley Tobacco | USA. Wilson brings over 20 years of operational leadership experience across the hospitality industry, Silicon Valley startups, and high-end luxury experiences, making him a key asset in the company’s U.S. market execution. Jörg Stermann of Bentley Tobacco (Bunde, Germany) will serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Jörg is a seasoned professional from Germany, bringing over three decades of experience in international business development and brand strategy. Known for his precision, leadership, and innovative thinking, Jörg has played a pivotal role in expanding premium European brands into global markets.
