El Mago Cigars Launches Limited Edition Tin Series, a first-of-its-kind collectible cigar experience

The concept was born when our founder, Nick Fusco, stumbled upon a vintage R.J. Reynolds tobacco tin while thrifting and realized that the art of collectible tobacco tins had all but disappeared from the cigar industry. That moment of inspiration became the El Mago Tin Series — a planned seven-tin collectible run (with more to come!) that blends premium Nicaraguan tobacco with storytelling, original artwork, and the kind of limited-production appeal that collectors and enthusiasts live for. Only 5,000 cigars per tin release will be produced. 

The first two tins are shipping now:

Tin #1 — Oyama Omen (5 x 50 Robusto Box Press Maduro)

Wrapped in a Mexican San Andrés Maduro leaf with a Sumatra binder and Nicaraguan filler, the Oyama Omen delivers cedar, orange peel, and dark chocolate at a smooth 3/7 strength. Each collectible tin holds five premium cigars.

Tin #2 — Mr. Almond (5 x 50 Robusto Box Press Maduro)

Also wrapped in Mexican San Andrés Maduro but with a US Broadleaf binder, Mr. Almond steps up to a 4/7 strength with rich notes of sweetness, almond, and cocoa balanced by a gentle spice. Five cigars per tin.

Both tins are exclusively available through our S-Tier retailer program — a by-acceptance-only network of fewer than 30 approved accounts across the country. Each tin features original character art and lore, designed to be collected like a comic book series, with five more releases planned.
