– Shipping September 4 –
MIAMI, Fla. – Montecristo, the esteemed name in premium cigars, is excited to announce the addition of a 54 x 5 Robusto size extension to its celebrated 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua line.
This expansion reflects the continued success and strong market presence of the Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua series, which has garnered significant acclaim since its debut in 2020. Notably, two of its sizes received a stellar 95 rating – with the No.2 size earning the coveted title of #2 Cigar of the Year by Cigar Aficionado in 2021.
“The Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua blend is exceptionally well-suited for this Robusto size,” said Rafael Nodal, VP of Product Capability for Tabacalera U.S.A., expressing enthusiasm about the addition. “While all sizes in the range perform admirably, we saw a unique opportunity to introduce a Robusto to the line.”
The Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua, crafted as a luxurious Nicaraguan homage to the original Montecristo blend and introduced to celebrate the brand’s 85-year legacy, is part of Montecristo’s pinnacle collection. This exquisite series features a meticulously curated blend of aged Nicaraguan tobaccos, delivering a sophisticated and balanced smoking experience.
The new Robusto 54 x 5 is a box-pressed marvel, crafted from hand-selected, extra-aged tobaccos and rolled with precision at AJ Fernandez’s renowned San Lotano factory in Nicaragua. This medium to full-bodied cigar offers a rich array of flavors, including wood, coffee, cinnamon, earth, and spice, with a long-lasting, sweet finish that enhances its refined profile.
