Montecristo Epic Vintage 12 Coming in April 2021
In what’s being billed as a truly epic and exceptional release, the release of the Montecristo Epic Vintage 12 will celebrate the achievements of the iconic Montecristo brand and the famed Group de Maestros.
The Montecristo Epic Vintage 12 is an embodiment of the Montecristo brand vision of rising above the ordinary. Every 10-count box of Montecristo Epic Vintage 12 will include a certificate that will be signed by the elite group of rollers from the renowned Tabacalera de Garcia factory located in La Romana, Dominican Republic, where the cigars are handcrafted.
“To create our Epic line, we select only the very best seeds and let them grow in our most exclusive soils until we have a crop worthy of the Epic name,” says Pedro Ventura, Tabacalera de Garcia’s product development manager and member of the Grupo de Maestros.
The Montecristo Epic Vintage 12 is handcrafted from a special reserve blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos collected during what is being called an exceptional harvest. The Montecristo Epic Vintage 12’s blend includes an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper that is described as luminous and one that reflects the cigar’s extraordinary beauty. The end result is a cigar that is constructed to perfection and blended to delight the palate from the first puff with its elegantly smooth flavors of oak woods, leather and fresh spices. The Montecristo Epic Vintage 12 joins the Montecristo Epic line that includes the well-rated Montecristo Epic Special Selection ’07.
Montecristo Epic Vintage 12 will be presented in two sizes: Blue Toro (6 x 52) and Blue No. 2 (6 x 50). Each cigar will be sold for a price between $17.75 and $18.50. Montecristo Epic Vintage 12 is expected to begin shipping in April 2021.
