We are excited to bring you a temporary replacement for the Cert Maith Bruscar, also known as Real Good Trash. After selling through our early batches, we completely ran out of the specific tobacco used in the original blend. Instead of quietly swapping in a different leaf and pretending nothing changed, we chose to be transparent and create a new blend while we wait on the long-delayed original tobacco to return. We would rather offer you something new than pretend you are getting the same cigar.
With industry pricing climbing due to tariffs, I asked James from Sinistro Cigars to craft a budget-friendly cigar made with 100% whole-leaf tobacco that still carried a bit of a punch. Using a Mexican San Andrés wrapper paired with an undisclosed binder and filler combination, he put together something truly unique. It is approachable for newer cigar smokers, yet bold enough to satisfy even the most seasoned aficionados. And just like the original Real Good Trash, these cigars are rolled at Artista Cigars in the Dominican Republic.
There is one request I need to make. Please do not smoke these right away. These cigars have been resting in my refrigerated humidors for several months to slowly bring the humidity down to where I believe they smoke their best. I have been checking them every few weeks with a Humidimeter, and they are averaging about seventy-two percent. Some are slightly higher, some are slightly lower. I have found that dry boxing them for a few days brings them into the ideal range. I was hoping they would be perfect by our holiday release, but that did not happen. I refused to rush the process and risk cracked wrappers, so I need your help to finish the final step of conditioning before lighting up.
Enjoy this limited transitional blend while we wait for the original leaf to return, and thank you for being part of the Real Good Trash journey.
And just like the original Cert Maith Bruscar, every 10-Pack will ship with a miniature trash can and sticker pack.
