Southern Draw expands Desert Rose, Manzanita and Jacobs Ladder Brimstone lines

September 22, 2022

Southern Draw Cigars, the family-owned premium cigar brand announced two new line extensions for the DESERT ROSE cigar blend and one new size in the Jacobs Ladder Brimstone cigar blend, and an exciting new size in the newest core blend, Manzanita, all are full regular available for general distribution.

The 2022 Fall Release Collection now offers the Boss Lady, a 9.0×48 Gran Corona (round format) and the Perfecto 5.0×58 (round format) both in the Desert Rose blend, the Lonsdale 6.0×44 (box pressed format) in the Jacobs Ladder Brimstone blend and the Lancero 7.5×40 (round format) in the Manzanita blend.

The Boss Lady is eloquently presented in individual hand-made wooden petacas, and then packaged five petacas per branded cigar accessory tray, like the packaging of the Jacobs Ladder Brimstone – Un Presidente which was originally released Fall 2020.  The second Desert Rose line extension is the Perfecto 5.0×58, a round format that has been packaged in special five count samplers known as DRAWpaks with Boveda 2-way humidity control, to address our ongoing supply chain delays that have slowed box production for new products.

The Jacobs Ladder Brimstone Lonsdale is packaged in the special 12 count box design previously used by Southern Draw Cigars for the Kudzu Lustrum Desert Rose Lonsdales.  Jacobs Ladder Brimstone Perfecto 5.0×58 is now regular production and is available in five count samplers in DRAWpaks.

The Manzanita Lancero is packaged in the special design, black enamel, 10 count box design previously used for the Manzanita Robusto, Toro and Gordo sizes.  The Lancero will debut as part of newly launched Cigora, exclusive cigar community (www.cigora.com) and is available to all valued retail partners.

“Despite the active rumor mill, Southern Draw Cigars has been very busy over the last eighteen months, these new releases represent only a portion of the line extensions and new products that have been slated for Fall/Winter 2022.  We continue to evolve our product lines striving for balance by expanding our most popular blends while we keep an eye on our goal of producing consistent and sustainable premium hand made cigars, each honoring the most influential people in our lives,” shared Alex Nungaray, the recently hired Operations Manager of Southern Draw Cigars.  “Let’s take this opportunity to remind our partners and consumers that this is a family-owned brand that remains committed to our mission even in the ever-changing face of the industry, numerous challenges and supply chain interruptions,” continued Alex.
